Last night Othman and I went to my friend Ingrid's house for a lovely Swedish celebration. She is hosting a couple from Sweden who will be leading a Mandala painting workshop this weekend, which I'm very excited to participate in! (But more on that later.) Yesterday Ingrid and her husband hosted a small gathering of people to celebrate St. Lucia's feast day the traditional Swedish way-- with a processional of people dressed all in white, Swedish songs, and candles! It was simple and beautiful, and though my pictures are pretty dark you get the idea. Thanks for a lovely evening Ingrid!
